How to implement AI governance: from tool sprawl to clear approval gates
AI governance is often reduced to a policy or a new committee. Daily work depends on something more concrete: Does every new idea pass through the same intake? Is it clear who assesses which risk? Is there a traceable decision before a use case goes live? A lean process answers these questions better than an extensive document nobody uses.
EU AI Act Article 4: putting AI literacy into practice
Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires measures to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy. It does not ask organizations to send as many people as possible through the same standard course. Existing knowledge, experience, education, context of use and affected people all matter. Effective implementation therefore starts with roles and real use cases.
How to prioritize AI use cases: a stage-gate model for operation
A list of promising AI ideas is not a strategy. Without shared selection criteria, the loudest voice, newest tool or most advanced pilot wins. A stage-gate model instead makes it clear early which use case deserves further investment – and which should be stopped deliberately.
